With decades of experience, the company grew to manufacture their own gear manufacturing machine tools. Today, CLC continues to invest in developing new products and technology with a concentration on the gear production industry.
The Koepfer machine tool division started almost 150 years ago when Josef Koepfer set up a small workshop in Furtwangen, Germany, to make horological tools. Over the years, and several family generations, the Koepfer group grew to include hobbing machines, cutting tools, and gear production. Today, the Koepfer group is part of the EMAG Group, and produces hobbing machines and gears for the European automotive market.
The Helios brand was formed in 2014 to offer premium European gear cutting tools to the North American market. The products represent a select combination of complimentary factories that provide a wide range of hob, milling cutter, and shaper cutter solutions.
Lambert – Wahli has its roots in 1886 when Mr. S. Lambert produced machines for the watch industry. Over the decades, the company grew to offer technically advanced thread milling and gear hobbing machines. In 2007, the company was integrated into the Monnier + Zahner company to provide a wider range of complimentary machines.
Monnier + Zahner was established in 1964 by Eugen Monnier and Robert Zahner to focus on specialized machines for dental, medical, and other unique markets. The Swiss “MZ” company continues to offer a wide range of specialized hobbing, worm milling, grinding, whirling, and medical machines. MZ rounds out our gear cutting partners by providing solutions for ultra-fine pitch applications.
Tecnomacchine is an Italian company specializing in deburring, chamfering, and drilling machines. Additionally, they offer flexible, adaptable automatic loading and unloading systems unique to a customer’s application.
Co-founded in 1919 by Daniel Swarovski, the Tyrolit company manufactured grinding wheels for the production of crystals. Today, the Austrian company manufactures abrasive products for several industries and applications, which include gear grinding, honing, and dressing tools.
Werner Wenzel founded his company in 1968 and soon became one of the world’s leading manufacturers of coordinate measuring machines. The German company has expanded to include dedicated gear inspection and measuring machines for the gear industry.
